I am on a ship, it doesn’t show in the map, there are two ships near by, can not see them either

Doesn’t work. Won’t load past the EULA page.

Does nothing except pop up “this is a free version and you need to buy the full app to see anything”. Worse kind of click bait app. Surprising the Yahoo’s at Apple allowed this on the store site.

As far as I can tell, every single setting is pay-only, including the ones that show on the app ad. Misleading, to put it mildly. I deleted it after less than a minute. Get Marine Traffic instead.

Perhaps it’s my location, Hawaii, but it doesn’t seem to do anything but tell me I’ll need to buy the full version to use any bell or whistle. Nothing ... no boats. So, from a sales perspective, I’m not even slightly interested in how much. All I was interested in was what kind of ship just passed by. Now all I’m interested in is how soon till I delete the app. Only writing this to dissuade the casual user not to waste their time.

I should have read the reviews before getting this "free" ship tracking pice of crap, IS IS NOT FREE this so-called free version does not do anything, will not show ANY ship location nor will it show USER location unless you upgrade. I don't care if the paid version is absolutely perfect in every way I WILL NOT GET IT! based on what I have seen on the free trial version.

Don't waste your time you have to upgrade to see anything that works on this app.

I gave it one star because zero was not an option. It doesn't do anything but offer to sell you the paid version. Wasn't worth the money and that's bad because it was FREE!

Why doesn't it show boats on upper Mississippi and Arkansas? They employ the same transponders.

All this version does is use memory. Totally useless, even to evaluate pay version. Nothing works and doesn't show any ships, even the freighter I see.

Unless you buy the full app, you can't get anything but the name of the ship. Very misleading in the description

After the update of this app is really has been my favourite free ship and vessel tracker!

Excellent App. Able to identify ships coming and going. Incredible accuracy. Keep up the good work !

Even the most simple of searches not available in free version. I was searching for a Princess cruise ship.

Basically this "app" is just a map, you can't see ships unless you upgrade and pay for the normal version. So essentially this is just a map, doesn't show you anything. Complete waste of time, unless you like looking at nothing relevant to what this app is titled for. Waste of time!!!!!!

If you want to use the features of this app, you are prompted to buy upgraded version..????

locate a great app and now I can see the boats went through the area where I live! My friends will love it for the view

I really like this app it's really rewarding I use it every day, it makes my life so much more fun thank the producer of it!

Trackaship is an amazing app it allows you to track various boats using GPS coordinates and giving their current estimated speeds as well. I tried this when using it on a chartered fishing boat and it tracked us perfectly. Very amazing app and highly recommended anyone who goes on any type of boating expeditions to try it out.

This is an interesting app where I could track some marine activity. It's well made, but I would like better date in the future.

Measure the distance from ship to user and ship to ship.It has Vessel icons, which are clearly recognizable.Built-in compass and "direction" vector which helps to find the direction to the ship.

Worse than useless.

Performed twice as good as expected. Trackaship at this time tracks 2 ships in the Pacific Ocean. I was wondering why the app name wasn't plural, now we know. I'd of given 2 stars because there's a lite version offered but I didn't because they're also gouging $6 out of the unsuspecting that don't do their homework.

This app is worthless. Don't waste your money. Zero stars. No data, no updates, won't refresh X 4 days...

Totally unresponsive. Can't pan or zoom the map at all. Might show ship data, but I can't get to it. Other options on the app store work better.

Just saw a Carnival ship sail by in the Keys and downloaded this...found zero ships. Sigh.

Not tracking anything but freighters that I can see. Wanted to track Carnival ships. Deleting app.

Only showed one ship in the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. Glad the app was free!!

What a worthless app if what your wanting to do is find and track a specific cruise ship. No search feature. No ship i.d. feature. How do you figure out what you're following?

Only shows user position, refresh still not working. I have been to multiple ports 5, gives GPS but I was looking for AIS positioning. Deleting app.

Works as described! Great for tracking ships position in relation to destination and departure!
